Creative and Fun Wedding at Brookfield Barn

We had the pleasure of working with CJ and Luke for their wedding at Brookfield Barn earlier this month. Despite the typical English summer weather, the sun was well and truly shining all day.The bride and groom wanted a fun day with all those that they loved around them at a venue in Sussex and Brookfield Barn ticked all the boxes! The day began very early as CJ had thirteen...yes, thirteen bridesmaids to help her on the day. The lovely Stephanie Dorelli and her team had the task of creating the gorgeous hair styles and makeup for all of them and also CJ's hair. The talented Lia Boccia then completed the look with the makeup for the gorgeous bride to be. 

The room was filled with so many friends and family from near and far and the excitement and nerves that CJ had before walking down were so heartwarming. Luke truly is CJ's love, her soulmate.Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed drinks and canapes on the terrace at Brookfield Barn in the afternoon sun from The Secret Restaurant. CJ and Luke even supplied the guests with gin and tonic popsicles! Instead on a confetti line, we had a great bubble shot lined up with all the guests as CJ and Luke were welcomed and the newly wed Mr and Mrs Lording.  

The ceremony was so emotional as the sun was shining through the opened doors overlooking the beautiful lake and golf course - simply stunning. CJ was wearing a gorgeous bridal gown from White Mischief Bridal. 

    

After the wedding breakfast, the guests were entertained by having some great games of laser pigeon shooting organised by Mark and the team at Brookfield Barn. There was also a caricaturist from Warble Entertainment who sat on the terrace and drew some amazing and fun pictures of the guests.

         

 Throughout the day I could not see CJ and Luke stop smiling - they loved every minute of the day and looked simply radiant. They had so much fun with the videographer, Scott Wright and the wedding photographer Simon Fazackarley. Simon has kindly allowed us to share these beautiful images on our blog.

   

So much thought had gone into the day and the guests especially liked the 'name your table' game for during the wedding breakfast...it did get a little competitive too!
