Tucked away along a private drive in West Sussex you’ll find Balcombe Place, a Grade II Listed country house built in 1856.

After 64 years, Balcombe Place returned to the management of Lord and Lady Denman’s descendants, three generations of them in fact. It was important to the family that after so many years of the property being in the hands of others, the house’s next adventure would be one that complements its features while ensuring the survival of the property as part of the Balcombe Estate.

Marble, Metals and Rich Tones

As part of our shoot we wanted to capture the gorgeous beauty of the rooms using a mix of subtle textures from marble, metals and rich tones of the linen and flowers. It is so often we see pale, blush tones but the pure luxury and elegance of Balcombe Place was crying out for this rich and opulent look. From the styling of the tablescape with subtle patterns of the marble and metals right through to the tones of lipstick used on our bride, we created a beautiful showcase.
