Travel in Style!

Long gone are the days of the obligatory Rolls-Royce  – why have that when you could have something with a little more character and meaning to you? Your parent’s beloved heritage car or your brother’s Golf Mark II? With so many DIY venues including working farms and barns, are you making use of the farm’s trailer or tractor, or the beach-side train? Bring your entire day together in an instant by extending the things you love to include your journey to the venue too!

Taking a car to your wedding or reception is probably the most traditional form of transport, but instead of a traditional vintage car, or luxury hire car why not mix it up a bit and go for something cute and retro. There are SO many choices out there, there should be something to suit anyone’s style and taste especially with the wide range of alternative cars available in every shape and size!

The campervan seems to be the go to vehicle at the moment. They are cute, colourful, value for money and have plenty of room, so great for you have a big dress, or if you have a large wedding party. We LOVE them and great for photos.We highly recommend Deluxe Wedding Hire who have a 1965 13 window Deluxe VW Split Screen camper van called Candy or their 1961 Morris minor Convertible called Floss.

With her Old English white and Apple candy red colours hence the name 'Candy' she gets attention where ever she goes.

They brought Candy from the Isle of Wight having been originally imported from San Francisco. As fate would have it Floss also came from the Isle of Wight.  Both now reside in West Sussex.

Another fleet of cars we are fond of include the Beauford and Falcon vintage cars from Falcon Wedding Cars. Whilst more of the traditional wedding car style, we think the colour of these beauties stand out from the rest. Our personal favourite being the the Falcon, known as Freddie. Freddie was hand built by John Cook of Sussex and is built to an incredibly high standard.It is a car full of character and mechanically sound being fully serviced annually. It has traveled 12,000 miles since it’s construction.What about an old Ford Mustang?
